QUALITY MANAGEMENT UNIT
The quality management unit and other departmental quality officers work to ensure that health services are effective, efficient and equitable within the scope of the 'Health Quality Standards Hospital Set (SKS)' and 'Regulation on the Improvement and Evaluation of Quality in Health' published by the Ministry of Health, Department of Quality and Accreditation in Health. They ensure that activities aimed at increasing patient safety and patient / employee satisfaction are maintained.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT DUTIES
Coordinating the work carried out within the framework of the SKS, To follow the studies aimed at institutional goals and objectives and to evaluate the statistical analysis of the studies carried out, Managing self-assessments, Managing the processes related to the Security Reporting System, Managing risk management processes, Managing studies for measuring patient and employee satisfaction (such as survey applications, evaluation of survey results, improvement studies for survey results, receiving patient and employee feedback), Ensuring the regulation and revision of documents within the framework of SKS, Managing the processes regarding quality indicators, Participating as a member in the committees determined within the framework of the SKS.
DUTIES OF DEPARTMENT QUALITY RESPONSIBLE
To implement SKS related to its departments, to inform the Quality Management Unit about the applications, Ensuring that the SKS written regulations sent to the department are delivered to all department employees, Ensuring that the written regulations are kept in appropriate environments (electronic media or files, folders, etc.) in a way that the department employees can reach, To determine department targets within the scope of SKS together with senior management and department managers, Analyzing the targets of the department and reporting to the Quality Management Unit, To follow the corrective-preventive activities carried out in the departments, To inform the department staff about the SKS studies, To personally supervise patient and employee safety practices in the department, To ensure that the reporting and notifications within the scope of SKS (Safety Reporting System, quality indicator notifications, etc.) are regularly made, Acting with the Quality Management Unit in SKS self-assessments, Conducting and coordinating patient satisfaction surveys and employee satisfaction surveys, To follow the documents used in the unit and documents of external origin, Participating in the evaluation meeting where the goals and self-evaluation results will be discussed with the hospital management.
COMMITTEE ACTIVITY CYCLE
After the activities related to their fields of duty are conveyed to the committee by the Quality Management Unit, the committees prepare a plan regarding the activities that fall within their field of duty and carry out their activities in line with the plan. In order to review the activities, they can organize meetings at regular intervals and initiate corrective-preventive actions when necessary, and send the analysis results and documents related to the activities to the Quality Management Unit.
